How to Use the Pokemon Fusion Generator: Step-by-Step Guide

To use the Pokemon Fusion Generator, pick a head Pokemon, pick a body Pokemon and press Fuse Now! The generator then shows the fused sprite, name, types, abilities, base stats and type matchups. It works with all 1,025 Pokemon from Generation 1 to 9, in any browser, with no download. This walkthrough covers every button.

Step 1: Choose the Head Pokemon

The head gives the fusion its colors, Type 1, and most of its HP, Sp. Atk and Sp. Def. Click the Head Pokemon box and type a name or a Pokedex number, such as "25" for Pikachu. The list filters as you type.

Step 2: Choose the Body Pokemon

The body gives the shape, Type 2, and most of the Attack, Defense and Speed. Pick it the same way. The hint under each box reminds you what that slot controls.

Step 3: Filter by Generation (Optional)

Each slot has its own generation chips, from Gen 1 to Gen 9. Choose a generation to shorten the list, for example Gen 1 for Kanto only. The Random Pair button also respects these chips, so Gen 1 chips give a random Kanto fusion.

Step 4: Press Fuse Now!

The result card shows 6 things:

  1. Sprite: the body's shape painted with the head's colors.
  2. Name: the head's first half plus the body's second half.
  3. Fusion ID: the 2 Pokedex numbers, head first.
  4. Types and abilities from both Pokemon.
  5. Base stats with colored bars and the BST.
  6. Type matchups: weaknesses, resistances and immunities.

Example: Pikachu + Charizard = Pikaizard, Electric/Flying with 414 BST.

Step 5: Experiment

  • Invert or Swap head and body: Charizard + Pikachu = Chariachu, Fire/Electric with 434 BST.
  • Random Pair: roll a surprise fusion.
  • Shiny: preview a shiny color version.
  • Reset: go back to the starting pair.

Step 6: Save and Share

  • Download PNG saves the sprite, scaled up 4 times so it stays sharp.
  • Share Link copies a link with the fusion in the address, such as ?h=25&b=6. Anyone who opens it sees the same fusion.
