What Is the Infinite Fusion Shiny Calculator?
The Infinite Fusion Shiny Calculator is a preview tool that shows what a fusion could look like as a shiny. It draws 3 sprites side by side for any head and body: the normal fusion, a shiny color variant and the inverted fusion. The stats, types and abilities stay the same, since shiny Pokemon only change color.
The calculator works with all 1,025 Pokemon, so you can preview shiny fusions for Pokemon Infinite Fusion, fan art or a shiny hunt plan.
How to Preview a Shiny Fusion
To preview a shiny fusion, pick a head and a body and press Fuse Now!. There are 4 steps:
- Pick the head Pokemon. The head's color palette is the base for the shiny colors.
- Pick the body Pokemon. The body gives the shape.
- Press Fuse Now! The main sprite opens in shiny mode, and 3 variants appear underneath: Normal, Shiny and Inverted.
- Press the Shiny badge to switch the main sprite between shiny and normal, then download the PNG you like.
The calculator opens with Eevee + Umbreon = Eevreon, a Normal/Dark fusion. Press Invert for Umbrvee, Dark/Normal.
How the Shiny Preview Is Made
The shiny preview rotates every color of the fused sprite by 150° on the color wheel. The calculator builds the fusion in 3 steps:
- It takes the body's 96 × 96 px sprite.
- It repaints the body with the head's palette, matching colors by brightness and keeping dark outlines.
- For the shiny variant, it shifts each color's hue by 150°, so red becomes teal and blue becomes orange-pink.
A 150° shift is a preview, not a copy of the game's shiny sprites. Official shiny Pokemon use hand-picked colors, and since version 6.6 Pokemon Infinite Fusion gives shiny Pokemon their official shiny colors with full palette swaps instead of simple hue shifts.
How Shiny Fusions Work in Pokemon Infinite Fusion
In Pokemon Infinite Fusion, a fusion can only be shiny when a shiny Pokemon is used in it, and a shiny fusion is fully shiny, never half shiny. The fan wiki lists 3 shiny color schemes for every fusion:
| Shiny parent | Shiny scheme |
|---|---|
| Head is shiny | Shiny scheme 1 |
| Body is shiny | Shiny scheme 2 |
| Both are shiny | Shiny scheme 3 |
When you unfuse a shiny fusion, only the Pokemon that was shiny before fusing stays shiny.
Shiny Odds in Pokemon Infinite Fusion
The base shiny odds in Pokemon Infinite Fusion are 1 in 4,096, the same as the official games from Generation 6. The Shiny Charm raises the odds to about 1 in 1,365. The table shows how many encounters it takes, on average, to find one shiny:
| Odds | Chance per encounter | Chance within 1,000 encounters |
|---|---|---|
| 1 in 4,096 | 0.024% | 21.7% |
| 1 in 1,365 (Shiny Charm) | 0.073% | 51.9% |

Tips for Shiny Fusion Previews
- Swap head and body: the head's palette is the one that shifts, so the inverted shiny looks very different.
- Use bright heads: pale or grey heads change little in shiny mode.
- Download both versions to compare the normal and shiny sprite side by side.
- Share the link: the URL keeps both Pokemon, so friends see the same fusion.
