What Is a Pokemon Fusion Stat Calculator?
A Pokemon fusion stat calculator calculates the 6 base stats and the base stat total (BST) of a fused Pokemon. You pick a head and a body, and the calculator shows HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def and Speed, each with the formula used to get it.
This calculator uses the Pokemon Infinite Fusion formula and covers all 1,025 Pokemon, so you can compare any two Pokemon before you fuse them in the game or use them in a fan project.
How to Calculate Fusion Stats
To calculate fusion stats, pick a head and a body and press Fuse Now!. There are 4 steps:
- Pick the head, the parent that leads HP, Sp. Atk and Sp. Def.
- Pick the body, the parent that leads Attack, Defense and Speed.
- Press Fuse Now! to see the 6 stat bars, the BST and the formula next to each stat.
- Press Invert to compare the stats of the other order.
The Fusion Stat Formula
Each fused stat is (2 × dominant parent + other parent) ÷ 3, rounded down. The calculator opens with Salamence (head) and Garchomp (body):
| Stat | Salamence Head | Garchomp Body | Calculation | Salamhomp |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HP | 95 | 108 | (2 × 95 + 108) ÷ 3 | 99 |
| Attack | 135 | 130 | (2 × 130 + 135) ÷ 3 | 131 |
| Defense | 80 | 95 | (2 × 95 + 80) ÷ 3 | 90 |
| Sp. Atk | 110 | 80 | (2 × 110 + 80) ÷ 3 | 100 |
| Sp. Def | 80 | 85 | (2 × 80 + 85) ÷ 3 | 81 |
| Speed | 100 | 102 | (2 × 102 + 100) ÷ 3 | 101 |
| Total (BST) | 600 | 600 | 602 |
The other order, Garchomp + Salamence = Garcmence, has 594 BST, 8 less than Salamhomp's 602, from the same two Pokemon with 600 BST each.
Fusion Stat Formulas Compared
Fusion games and tools use 3 main stat formulas. The table applies each one to Salamence + Garchomp:
| Stat | Infinite Fusion (2:1, round down) | Simple average (round down) | Average, round up |
|---|---|---|---|
| HP | 99 | 101 | 102 |
| Attack | 131 | 132 | 133 |
| Defense | 90 | 87 | 88 |
| Sp. Atk | 100 | 95 | 95 |
| Sp. Def | 81 | 82 | 83 |
| Speed | 101 | 101 | 101 |
| BST | 602 | 598 | 602 |
Pokemon Infinite Fusion uses the 2:1 formula. Some fan games, such as PokeRogue, average the two parents instead, and simple fusion websites often do the same. Results from different tools can differ by a few points for this reason.
Highest Possible Fusion Stats
The highest fused stat of all is 253 HP, from Blissey + Chansey. The table lists the record for each stat across all 1,049,600 fusions of two different Pokemon:
| Stat | Record | Fusion | Name |
|---|---|---|---|
| HP | 253 | Blissey + Chansey | Blisnsey |
| Attack | 175 | Rampardos + Kartana | Rampatana |
| Defense | 223 | Stakataka + Shuckle | Stakackle |
| Sp. Atk | 166 | Xurkitree + Mewtwo | Xurkitwo |
| Sp. Def | 220 | Shuckle + Regice | Shucice |
| Speed | 186 | Ninjask + Regieleki | Ninjeleki |
Each record puts the Pokemon with the highest stat in the dominant slot and another high-stat Pokemon in the other slot.
From Base Stats to Real Stats
Base stats are not the numbers you see in battle; real stats also depend on level, IVs, EVs and nature. Pokemon Infinite Fusion uses the same stat formula as the Generation 3 to 9 games:
- HP = floor((2 × Base + IV + EV ÷ 4) × Level ÷ 100) + Level + 10
- Other stats = (floor((2 × Base + IV + EV ÷ 4) × Level ÷ 100) + 5) × Nature
The table shows Salamhomp's real stats with 31 IVs, 0 EVs and a neutral nature:
| Stat | Base | Level 50 | Level 100 |
|---|---|---|---|
| HP | 99 | 174 | 339 |
| Attack | 131 | 151 | 298 |
| Defense | 90 | 110 | 216 |
| Sp. Atk | 100 | 120 | 236 |
| Sp. Def | 81 | 101 | 198 |
| Speed | 101 | 121 | 238 |
A helpful nature multiplies one stat by 1.1, and 252 EVs add up to 63 points at level 100.
How to Raise a Fusion's BST
A fusion's BST goes up when each parent leads the stats it is best at. There are 4 rules:
- Put high HP, Sp. Atk and Sp. Def in the head.
- Put high Attack, Defense and Speed in the body.
- Pair lopsided Pokemon whose best stats do not overlap; some merges beat both parents. See the Pokemon Merger for examples.
- Always invert: Salamhomp and Garcmence differ by 8 BST.
Pokemon with even stats change little between orders, since both parents give similar numbers. Salamence has 600 BST and Garchomp has 600.
