What Is Pokemon Infinite Fusion in One Sentence?
Pokemon Infinite Fusion is a free fan-made Pokemon game for Windows PC in which you can fuse two Pokemon into one new Pokemon and use it in battle. The fused Pokemon gets a mixed sprite, a mix of both Pokemon's types and stats, and the moves and abilities of both.
For example, Pikachu as the head and Charizard as the body make Pikaizard, a fusion with Electric/Flying typing. The game has 576 base Pokemon in version 6.6, which makes 331,799 possible fusions.
Who Made Pokemon Infinite Fusion?
Pokemon Infinite Fusion was created by a fan developer who first posted it on PokéCommunity as Schrroms; the game's wiki credits the developer as Chardub. The first demo came out on April 22, 2015. Since then, a community of more than 6,000 sprite artists has drawn custom sprites for fusions, and other fans have helped with translations, maps and fixes.
The idea is based on Japeal's Pokemon Fusion Generator, a web tool that mixes the sprites of two Pokemon.

Yes, if you enjoy classic Pokemon games and want to experiment. The main downside is length: with 16 badges and a long post-game, a full playthrough takes much longer than Pokemon Red.
