What Is a Pokemon Mixer?
A Pokemon mixer is an online tool that mixes two Pokemon into one new Pokemon. The mixer takes the colors of one Pokemon and the shape of the other, then mixes their names, types, abilities and base stats into a single result.
This Pokemon mixer has all 1,025 Pokemon from Generation 1 to Generation 9, so you can mix a Kanto classic with a Paldea newcomer. That gives 1,050,625 possible mixes. The mixer runs in your browser, is free, and needs no sign-up or download.
How to Mix Two Pokemon
To mix two Pokemon, choose one for the head, choose one for the body and press Mix Pokemon. There are 4 steps:
- Choose the first Pokemon. Search by name or Pokedex number. This Pokemon gives the mix its colors and first type.
- Choose the second Pokemon. This Pokemon gives the mix its shape and second type.
- Press Mix Pokemon. The mixed sprite, mixed name, types, abilities and stats appear at once.
- Remix. Press Random Pair for a new random mix, or the swap button to mix the same two Pokemon the other way round.
The mixer opens with Gengar + Mewtwo, which mixes into Gentwo, a Ghost/Psychic Pokemon with 138 Sp. Atk and 123 Speed.
What Gets Mixed in a Pokemon Mix
A Pokemon mix blends 5 things from its two parents: colors, shape, name, types and stats.
Colors and Shape
The mixed sprite keeps the outline and pose of the second Pokemon and repaints it with the color palette of the first. A blue head on a red body gives a blue version of the red Pokemon's shape. Press Shiny to recolor the mix with a shiny palette.
Mixed Names
The mixed name joins the first half of the first name with the second half of the second name. Vaporeon + Jolteon gives Vapoteon. Some mixes give back a real name: Umbreon + Espeon mixes into "Umbreon", since both names end in "-eon".
Mixed Types
The mix takes Type 1 from the first Pokemon and Type 2 from the second Pokemon. Pikachu (Electric) + Squirtle (Water) gives a Electric/Water mix that is weak only to Grass and Ground.
Mixed Stats and Abilities
Each mixed stat leans two thirds towards the parent that controls it: HP, Sp. Atk and Sp. Def lean to the first Pokemon, and Attack, Defense and Speed lean to the second. The mix can use one ability from each parent, plus a hidden ability. For the full stat math, use the Fusion Stat Calculator.
Random Pokemon Mixes
The Random Pair button mixes 2 random Pokemon from all 1,025 in one click. Each press gives a new mix, and the generation chips limit the random pick to one or more generations. Random mixing is the fastest way to find fan art ideas, Nuzlocke challenge rules or a "mix of the day" for a Discord server. For a page made only for random mixes, open the Random Pokemon Fusion Generator.
Pokemon Mix Ideas by Theme
Theme mixes look the most natural, since the two Pokemon already share colors, shapes or lore. Here are 4 themes with real results from the mixer.
Eeveelution Mixes
- Vaporeon + Jolteon = Vapoteon: Water/Electric, 546 BST and 108 HP.

- Umbreon + Espeon = Umbreon: Dark/Psychic, the mix that keeps its own name.
Starter Mixes Across Generations
- Charizard + Blastoise = Charitoise: Fire/Water with 530 BST and no 4× weakness.

Pokemon Mixer vs Pokemon Fusion Games
A Pokemon mixer shows a mix; a Pokemon fusion game lets you play with it. There are 3 common ways fans mix Pokemon:
| Option | Pokemon | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Classic Gen 1 fusion sites | 151 (Kanto) | A mixed picture and name |
| This Pokemon mixer | 1,025 (Gen 1–9) | Mixed sprite, name, types, abilities, stats, type matchups, PNG |
| Pokemon Infinite Fusion (fan game) | Its own dex | Mixes you catch, train and battle with |
The mixer uses the same stat and type rules as Pokemon Infinite Fusion, so a mix you plan here matches the game for Pokemon in its dex. Read the Pokemon Infinite Fusion guide to play it.
Tips for Better Pokemon Mixes
There are 5 tips for better Pokemon mixes:
- Mix contrasting colors. A bright head on a dark body gives the clearest sprite.
- Mix both ways. Charitoise and Blastizard come from the same two Pokemon but have different types.
- Mix across generations. Old and new designs give the most surprising shapes.
- Check the weaknesses. The type matchup box shows 4× weaknesses before you use a mix in battle.
- Save your favorites. The share link keeps both Pokemon, and the PNG download keeps the sprite.
