What Is a Gen 1–9 Pokemon Fusion Generator?
A Gen 1–9 Pokemon fusion generator fuses Pokemon from all 9 generations, with a generation filter on each slot. You can fuse two Pokemon from the same generation, or fuse a Generation 1 classic with a Generation 9 newcomer.
This generator has all 1,025 Pokemon, from Bulbasaur (#1) in Kanto to Pecharunt (#1025) in Paldea. That is 1,050,625 fusions in total, and 927,270 of them mix two different generations.
How to Fuse Pokemon by Generation
To fuse Pokemon by generation, set a Gen chip above each box, then pick or roll a Pokemon. There are 4 ways to use the chips:
- Same generation: set the same chip on both boxes, for example Gen 1 + Gen 1.
- Cross generation: set different chips, for example Gen 1 head + Gen 9 body.
- Random within a generation: set the chips and press Random Pair. Each box rolls only from its own generation.
- All generations: set both chips to All to search and roll from every Pokemon.
The page opens with two Grass starters from Gen 1 and Gen 2: Bulbasaur + Chikorita = Bulbaorita, pure Grass. Bulbasaur's Poison type is lost, since Chikorita has only one type.

Generation 5 (Unova) has the most Pokemon, 156. Generation 6 (Kalos) has the fewest, 72.
Cross-Generation Fusions
Cross-generation fusions pair an old design with a new one, and they often share a role. Here are 6 old-meets-new fusions with real results:
| Fusion | Generations | Name | Type | BST |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pikachu + Pawmot | Gen 1 + Gen 9 | Pikamot | Electric/Fighting | 410 |
| Charizard + Skeledirge | Gen 1 + Gen 9 | Charidirge | Fire/Ghost | 523 |
| Mewtwo + Koraidon | Gen 1 + Gen 9 | Mewidon | Psychic/Dragon | 693 |
| Gengar + Ceruledge | Gen 1 + Gen 9 | Genledge | Ghost/Fire | 525 |
| Tinkaton + Snorlax | Gen 9 + Gen 1 | Tinkrlax | Fairy/Normal | 502 |
| Pidgey + Wattrel | Gen 1 + Gen 9 | Pidtrel | Flying/Electric | 259 |
- Mewidon reaches 693 BST, more than Mewtwo (680) and Koraidon (670).
- Pikamot pairs the Gen 1 and Gen 9 Electric mice into a Electric/Fighting fusion with 100 Speed.
- Genledge is Ghost/Fire with immunities to Normal and Fighting.
Starter Fusions Across Generations
Starters of the same type fuse into the cleanest cross-generation designs. Order still matters: Chikorita + Bulbasaur = Chikoasaur keeps Grass/Poison, while Bulbasaur + Chikorita = Bulbaorita is pure Grass. Read the starter Pokemon fusions guide for more starter pairs.
Early-Route Fusions
The first Pokemon you meet in each region fuse into simple, low-BST fusions. Rattata + Lechonk = Ratthonk (Normal, 237 BST) and Pidgey + Wattrel = Pidtrel (Flying/Electric, 259 BST) are good first fusions for a Nuzlocke-style challenge.
Generations in Pokemon Infinite Fusion
Pokemon Infinite Fusion started with Pokemon from Generation 1 and Generation 2, and later versions added Pokemon from newer generations. This generator covers all 9 generations, so some fusions here cannot be caught in the fan game. Check the Infinite Fusion Dex to see which Pokemon the game includes.
Tips for Fusing by Generation
There are 4 tips for generation fusions:
- Match roles across generations: starter + starter, early bird + early bird, legendary + legendary.
- Use Gen 1 for the head to keep a classic color palette on a modern shape.
- Roll one generation at a time to explore a region you know less well.
- Check single-type bodies: a one-type body can remove the head's second type.
